A rarity, the 1935-36 Eight Day New Haven Clock Mirror

In October of 1935 Ford introduced a rare accessory that very few V8ers have seen. This is the 8 Day string wound clock.  In their 1935-36 Ford Book, the Early Ford V8 Club of America credits it to Waltham. They now acknowledge it was made only by New Haven.  This particular clock mirror, below, is correct for late 1935 and 1936.

The dial is dome shaped and there is a hole through the mirror. The crystal is curved.  The bezel functions as the means of attachment by engaging the sides of the hole.
